Kodak Black Ordered To Follow Strict Conditions After Prison Release

Kodak Black is currently out on bond after being taken into custody in connection with a Florida drug trafficking investigation. The rapper secured his release by paying a $75,000 bond, but the court reportedly placed several limitations on him while the case remains active.

Reports state that a judge ordered Kodak to avoid illegal substances entirely and barred him from carrying weapons or communicating with individuals tied to the investigation. He was also instructed not to return to the location connected to the alleged incident.

The case reportedly traces back to an Orlando investigation from 2025. Law enforcement officers responded to reports of gunfire and arrived at a scene where two unattended vehicles were found. Authorities claimed Kodak Black was nearby alongside several acquaintances at the time officers arrived.

Investigators later searched the vehicles and allegedly discovered a bag containing MDMA, along with roughly $37,000 in cash. Although no arrest happened immediately following the incident, officials later determined the amount of MDMA recovered exceeded Florida’s legal threshold for trafficking charges. Authorities say the substance weighed more than 25 grams, which ultimately resulted in Kodak Black’s arrest this week.

The rapper’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, has publicly pushed back against the accusations. According to reports, Cohen argued that Kodak Black was not connected to the drugs recovered during the investigation and criticized the arrest altogether. The defense plans to contest the charges in court and seek to have the case dismissed.

The situation adds another legal obstacle for the rapper during a period when he had recently been promoting new music, including the release of “Love Me Not.” As the court proceedings continue, attention will likely remain focused on both the evidence in the case and whether Kodak complies with the strict conditions tied to his release.
