Pooh Shiesty Arrested
Federal authorities recently executed a raid at Pooh Shiesty’s family residence, leading to new legal trouble for both the rapper and his father. According to reports, Pooh Shiesty was taken into custody on April 1 at his family home in Dallas, Texas. While the exact charges have not yet been publicly detailed, officials confirmed that the arrest is tied to an ongoing federal investigation.
His father, Lontrell Williams Sr., has also been arrested in connection with the situation, adding to the seriousness of the case. The arrests follow an earlier FBI operation at the rapper’s home in Cordova, a suburb of Memphis, where agents reportedly carried out a search and arrest warrant authorized by a federal court. As of now, neither Pooh Shiesty nor his representatives have issued a public statement regarding the recent developments.
This situation marks another chapter in the artist’s ongoing legal history. He was released from prison just six months ago after serving approximately 63 months for a federal firearms conspiracy conviction. That case stemmed from his involvement in a 2020 robbery and shooting at a hotel in Bay Harbor Islands, to which he pleaded guilty in 2022.
Following his release, his attorney, Bradford Cohen, expressed optimism about his future, suggesting that the rapper was preparing for a strong return to his career and emphasizing that his story was far from over.
